Nawsad Siddiqui was hit by the division bench of Calcutta High Court

ISF was hit by the division bench of Calcutta High Court. Meetings cannot be held in front of Victoria House. On Friday, the division bench rejected the order of the single bench.

Next 21 January is the foundation day of ISF. On that occasion they want to hold a meeting that day at Dharmatala, in front of Victoria House. In other words, Nawsad Siddiqui's party wants to hold the meeting where the Trinamool Martyrs' Day meeting is held. It did not get permission from the police. So Nawsad's team approached Calcutta High Court. Single bench allows Nawsad Siddiqui's team to meet. The state in turn goes to the division bench.

The case was heard on Friday before a division bench of Chief Justice TS Shivagnam and Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya. The court said that the ISF cannot hold a meeting by blocking the road. They can hold meetings in any indoor stadium. Meetings can be held at Netaji Indoor Stadium or Khudiram Practice Centre. However, the ISF program can be done in consultation with the state.

"Your client is on bail," the Chief Justice's bench told the ISF lawyer in today's hearing. There are allegations against that leader. Even after that nothing will happen in the meeting this year, the court does not believe that. The foundation day of a political party is very important. We know that. But program elsewhere. Not a road closure program. You will be responsible for the death of any patient stuck in the ambulance due to the meeting.''
