  The Supreme Court sent a notice to the Lok Sabha Secretariat in the case filed by Mahua Moitra regarding cancellation of the post of MP. The Supreme Court wants to know why Mahua's MP post was cancelled. The Secretariat has been asked to respond within 3 weeks. The next hearing of the case is after March 11. In the Lok Sabha, allegations of questions in exchange of money were raised against Krishnanagar TMC MP Mahua Moitra . Following the ethics committee's proposal, the TMC MP was expelled from the Lok Sabha. He was not even given a chance to defend himself. After that, Mahua approached the Supreme Court. Last month, Mahua also requested for speedy hearing of the case. But that application was rejected. The Supreme Court heard the case on Wednesday.
