Trinamool's Mahua Moitra vacates Delhi bungalow after eviction notice

  The court of law was not resolved. In the end, expelled Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra had to vacate the bungalow in Delhi. According to sources, Mahua vacated the government bungalow in Delhi on Friday morning.   This morning, a worker was sent to the government bungalow in Mahua by the Directorate of Estates of the Parliament. According to the news agency PTI sources, the expelled Trinamool MP handed over the keys of the bungalow to the government worker. Last Tuesday, the Directorate of Estates issued a final notice to Mahua to vacate the bungalow. Incidentally, Mahua's MP position was dismissed on December 8 in the case of 'questions in exchange of money'. She was asked to vacate the bungalow by January 7. Mahua did not agree. SC issues notice to Lok Sabha secretary general on Mahua Moitra's expulsion

  The Supreme Court sent a notice to the Lok Sabha Secretariat in the case filed by Mahua Moitra regarding cancellation of the post of MP. The Supreme Court wants to know why Mahua's MP post was cancelled. The Secretariat has been asked to respond within 3 weeks. The next hearing of the case is after March 11. In the Lok Sabha, allegations of questions in exchange of money were raised against Krishnanagar TMC MP Mahua Moitra . Following the ethics committee's proposal, the TMC MP was expelled from the Lok Sabha. He was not even given a chance to defend himself. After that, Mahua approached the Supreme Court. Last month, Mahua also requested for speedy hearing of the case. But that application was rejected. The Supreme Court heard the case on Wednesday. On this day, the Solicitor General on behalf of the Lok Sabha Secretariat claimed in the Supreme Court that the proceedings of the Parliament are subordinate to the Speaker.
