Trinamool's Mahua Moitra vacates Delhi bungalow after eviction notice
The court of law was not resolved. In the end, expelled
Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra had to vacate the bungalow in Delhi. According to
sources, Mahua vacated the government bungalow in Delhi on Friday morning.
This morning, a worker was sent to the government bungalow
in Mahua by the Directorate of Estates of the Parliament. According to the news
agency PTI sources, the expelled Trinamool MP handed over the keys of the
bungalow to the government worker. Last Tuesday, the Directorate of Estates
issued a final notice to Mahua to vacate the bungalow.
Incidentally, Mahua's MP position was dismissed on December
8 in the case of 'questions in exchange of money'. She was asked to vacate the
bungalow by January 7. Mahua did not agree. The Trinamool leader sought
permission to use the bungalow till Lok Sabha Elections on fixed rent. But
after a long time in several courts, no profit was made.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mahua
Maitra was asked to vacate the government bungalow by the Directorate of
Estates soon after she was dismissed as an MP. But he approached the Delhi High
Court against that decision. The Delhi High Court did not intervene at that
time. Mahua was asked to apply to the Directorate of Estates on this issue. At
the same time, the High Court recommended that the case be withdrawn.
Accordingly, Mahua applied to the Directorate of Estates (DoE). It didn't work. She went to the Delhi High Court again on Thursday. This time too, the work did
not work. After that Mahua decided to vacate the bungalow.
