CM Mamata Banerjee writes letter to PM Modi appealing to release fund of National health mission

TMC has repeatedly accused the central government of withholding funds from central schemes in a white-blue vs orange battle. This time, amid the colour controversy, the Chief Minister wrote a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for money for the National Health Mission. And Mamata Banerjee clearly mentioned in the letter. She requested that the money allocated for Bengal under the National Health Mission project should be settled quickly. Otherwise, it is difficult to run the project.

The state government has several projects in the health sector, including health partners, children's partners, maternal mothers, eye lights. All loins are treated free of cost. The Chief Minister compared the National Health Mission (NHM) with those projects. She has detailed in the letter how the state government is continuing so many projects in the health sector despite so many obstacles.

The chief minister has written a letter to the prime minister about that and requested that the allocated money for Bengal be given quickly. She mentioned that it is possible to provide better quality treatment to poor people in that sense.
