PM Modi in Dubai for COP28 Summit, gets warm welcome

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Dubai for 21 hours. Upon entering the hotel, he was greeted by expatriate Indians in Dubai with slogans of 'Modi, Modi'. It is known that the Prime Minister will sit in 7 bilateral meetings within this period. Modi went to Dubai to attend the United Nations climate conference. In an interview in Dubai before the start of the conference, he said that both India and the United Arab Emirates will continue to work together to improve the environment.


PM Modi arrived in Dubai on Saturday night local time. On reaching the hotel from the airport, the expatriate Indians kept shouting slogans. The Prime Minister entered the hotel amid the sounds of 'Ab Ki Baar Modi Sarkar' and 'Bande Mataram'. He is also seen taking selfies with expatriate Indians amid slogans of Modi, Modi. Later, Modi said on the X platform that he is looking forward to attending this conference. Prime Minister will address at the beginning of the conference.

It is known that the Prime Minister has gone to Dubai for 21 hours. Apart from the opening speech of the conference, he will address three more events. Attend two events related to environmental protection. In addition, the Prime Minister will also participate in 7 bilateral meetings within the conference. In an interview given to a newspaper before the start of the conference, Modi said, India is hopeful that more active steps will be taken in the context of environment protection at this conference. India will work with the United Arab Emirates in this regard.
