Special arrangements for devotees attending Gangasagar Mela 2024

 

Gangasagar Mela at the beginning of the new year. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a meeting in Nabanna on Wednesday to review her preparations. The Gangasagar Mela 2024 will run from January 8 to 17. 15 ministers were present in the chief minister's meeting at Navanna regarding that preparation. 18 top officials of the department. Chief Minister said that there will be 1 thousand 150 CCTVs in the fair premises. There is GPS and satellite tracking system. Not only surveillance through devices, there will be enough police in the fair to avoid untoward incidents. 2 thousand 400 civil defense workers. Lots of civic volunteers too. As well as going to the fair in an accident. Beneficiaries will also get an insurance benefit of Rs 5 lakh in case of someone's death.
