Ahead of Rahul Gandhi's Yatra in UP, INDIA Bloc's RLD may Join BJP
Confusion in India Alliance arised again. Even before Rahul
Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra entered Uttar Pradesh, the RLD in that state
signaled to turn away from the alliance. If all goes well, the Rashtriya Lok
Dal (RLD) is going to join the NDA.
According to sources, RLD chief Jayant Chowdhury had a discussion with Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav about the distribution of seats in Uttar Pradesh. Where Akhilesh also promised to give seven seats to RLD. But despite this, Jayant has shown more interest in joining hands with BJP's ND alliance. He has already met with the BJP's top leadership in Delhi to discuss seat reconciliation with the BJP. It has been informed that four seats will be given to RLD by orange camp. It has been reported that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the four seats of Kairana, Baghpat, Mathura and Amroha will be left to Jayant Chowdhury's party by the BJP.
As soon as this news spread, the speculations of RLD joining
the BJP and NDA alliance intensified. According to sources, RLD will clarify
its position on this issue on February 12. However, if Jayant Chaudhury's party
joins hands with NDA, it is undoubtedly going to be a big blow for the India
coalition. Because Nitish Kumar's JDU has already ended its relationship with
India Alliance.
