PM Modi slams Congress on National economy uses quote of Rajeev Gandhi-Manmohan Singh
The country's economy was collapsed at a time. Modi
government has pulled India out from there. In just 10 years, India has become
the top five largest economy in the world. This is how PM Modi blasted the Congress while giving a reply speech in the budget session.
And his tool in that work is the comments of Congress Prime Minister Rajiv
Gandhi and Manmohan Singh.
Right from the beginning of his reply speech in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, the Haat camp was targeting the Prime Minister. Starting from the dominance of two particular people within the Congress to the failure of the previous Congress governments, all issues came up in Modi's speech. Modi said that due to the failure of the Congress, the north eastern states of the country are gradually falling behind. Congress has also handed over huge land to enemies.
However, the first part of the reply speech was about the
country's economy. Modi said, "Since independence, the Congress has been
in a quagmire over whether to give priority to industry or agriculture.
Therefore, for 10 years, India was taken from the 12th to the 11th position in
the world economy. This Congress is now giving us a long speech about the
country's economy."
While criticizing the Congress, Modi highlighted the
comments of the Prime Ministers of the Hath camp. Standing in the Rajya Sabha,
he said, “Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted that the country's
economy was gradually weakening. Common people are being victimized due to
corruption, government agencies are being misused.” Modi also highlighted the
confession of another Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi without naming him. Congress
has done nothing despite understanding that there is corruption in various
parts of the country, this can be heard from Modi's mouth. He also said that
the Congress has not taken any initiative to restore the country's economy. But
this government has brought the country out of the financial crisis by working
hard in the last 10 years.
