ED conducts raid at residence of Sujit Bose and Tapas Roy

 

ED at Minister Sujit Bose's house in the morning to investigate the re-appointment case. At the same time, officials of the Central Investigation Agency also appeared at the house of MLA Tapas Roy and former chairman Subodh Chakraborty. Central forces surrounded the house.

ED is investigating based on the information received from them. ED officials suddenly reached Sujit Bose's Laketown house around 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning. They had to wait outside the gate for about 20 minutes. After that the officials went inside. Meanwhile, the central forces surrounded the house. There is also a lot of police from Laketown police station. Along with the search, it is reported that the interrogation is going on.

Another team of ED went to MLA Tapas Roy's house in Bowbazar. A team went to the MLA's house in Baranagar. The police officers of the local police station have reached there. Central army soldiers surrounded the house. Meanwhile, the ED has also raided the house of Subodh Chakraborty, the councillor and former chairman of Ward No. 19 of North Dumdum Municipality. The entire house was surrounded by central forces. Incidentally, Subodh Chakraborty's name is involved in illegal recruitment. That's why this search.
