President Draupadi Murmu speaks on the potential of India’s growing tourism sector

 

The Budget Session of the Parliament started on Wednesday. And in the welcome speech, President Draupadi Murmu brought up the success of Chandrayaan since the G20 in New Delhi. Besides, the President is also excited about Ram Mandir.

She was heard saying today, “People have been waiting for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for centuries. That dream has come true. People also wanted an end to Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Today 370 is history.” Murmu also expressed enthusiasm about the abolition of the practice of triple talaq.

Meanwhile, in addition to talking about 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat', Draupadi Murmu said that the country is gradually improving in the field of tourism. As tourists are interested in going to Andaman and Lakshadweep, people are flocking to visit Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The President was heard to say, "Tourism is a sector where youth have job opportunities. A record number of tourists have arrived in the Northeast. There is a strong interest among people to visit Andaman Islands or Lakshadweep. Besides, 13 lakh devotees gathered at Ayodhya Dham after 'Pranapratishtha'.
